What will we achieve today?

Session Objective: Expresses medium and long-term personal and academic future goals using going to and will structures.

Community Connection: We will connect this language structure to describe our own life experiences, family stories, and community realities in Popayán and the Cauca region.

Key Concepts

• Intentions vs Predictions: 'I am going to finish high school' (planned) vs 'I will probably travel to Europe' (prediction).
• Future milestones: graduating, learning a skill, working, traveling, helping the community.
• Time expressions: in five years, by 2030, eventually.

Practical Challenge: Future Goals

Design the second half of your timeline, defining 4 future goals with illustrations, using going to/will correctly in the descriptions.
